Thirteen years on one problem

It's simple: people deserve to buy and sell in peace. That has been the reason for OmniBazaar since 2013, because commerce shouldn't require handing your money to a stranger in the middle. We kept building until the tools caught up.

Instead of investing in financial gains, we invested in people.

How did we get here?

2013: too early, on purpose. v1 shipped on BitShares technology, a working decentralized marketplace with about 10,000 real users, years before "DeFi" was a word. The idea was right and the decade was wrong.

Then, around 2022, v1 wound down. About 5,000 users' balances were preserved on the blockchain. They are still there, waiting to be reclaimed, because abandoning user funds was never on the table.

2024–2026 was the rebuild. From scratch: our own blockchain where users pay no fees, 100+ programs running on it, an exchange, prediction-market and earning tools, a marketplace, and a wallet for 80+ chains. Built solo with AI-assisted development, at a cost of a few hundred dollars a month.

April 2026: live. The new network launched and has run ever since, and the three clients (web, extension, Android) ship in lockstep.

You deserve OmniBazaar. Did we mention joining's free?
